Sandman Hotel Edmonton West, Edmonton

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were clean but not child-proof clean, and getting access required multiple visits to the front desk. The service was friendly and accommodating for basic requests, but the evening shift was not helpful and seemed disinterested. The location was great for West Edmonton Mall access, but our towels were never restocked. The dining experience at Dennys was not very good, and the facilities were just average.

Upon entering our room, we noticed a faint smell of cigarette smoke, but overall, it was beautiful, quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, although there was a minor issue with obtaining a playpen late in the day. The location was convenient with a variety of dining options nearby, including Denny's and Chip. The rooms could use some renovation to be more family-friendly, and there were small cleanliness issues in the bathroom. Dining options were inclusive of breakfast, and the European bread was a nice touch.

The hotel offered comfortable and clean rooms, with friendly and efficient service. The location was convenient for visiting the West Edmonton Mall, but some areas were in need of renovations. The dining experience was good with included meals. Overall, a decent value for money stay.
